It may be cold comfort, but I too muttered "fuck" more than a handful of times reading "Death & Desire." Currently scratching out an Amazon review worthy of your wonderful book. Keep the faith, Andrew (and I mean that in the most non-secular way possible).
Thanks Regina 😊. I'm buzzing for Final Dress since you announced it. I'm a big fan of Fashion Victims so I'm extremely eager to see you pull from your theatre experience in your new novel like you did with fashion in Fashion Victims.
The beer garden is LOVELY when it's sunny. Dogs are welcome and Max loves it (so, too, did Lilly). And it's only a minutes walk from our house!
Thanks Craig. And since I mentioned lingering Catholicism above, please know that I have a healthy dose of guilt concerning my writing commitment to you. As I alluded to in my post, I've been having quite the "to do" about writing. It'll pass and I will try and muster up something good for you.
Wish I could absolve you of any guilt re: the writing project in question! (Speaking of Catholicism, in my new, still-secret stand-up routine, there's a bit about Pope Honorius's necromatic grimoire and how popes back in the day had the power to absolve themselves of excommunication by rival anti-popes. Not sure about including a link here, but let me know if you'd like a peek.) If you ever feel inspired to jot down a /scenario/ as opposed to an all-out script, that would be absolutely fine ... it could be a "Story by"/"Screenplay by" situation, where I'd handle the actual dialogue based upon the story idea. Anyway, I'm still glad you're keeping the project out of the deep freeze and perhaps on a slow simmer of the mind. ;-)

Thanks so much for your kind words!
Shit. I meant secular. Two years of college Latin and a journalism degree, and I still confuse the two.
😂 I didn't notice and got your meaning anyway
I love seeing these found cards. I (selfishly) hope you get out of your writing slump soon. The beer garden sounds lovely. :)

Great post, and I'm also so glad that playing cards are still dealing themselves out to you!
